8 May, Amsterdam: International Event Involving Men in Harassment Prevention

Our partners from Breaking the cycle will be visiting the Netherlands from 7 -12 May: organizations from India, Sri Lanka, Madagascar, Samoa and Spain all working with men to prevent violence against women. On Wednesday May 8th we are organizing an event on Dutch and international work on the prevention of sexual and street harassment and involving men.

You are more than welcome to gain contacts, inspiration and expertise on the ways in which organizations in the Netherlands and all over the world are working to involve men in the prevention of violence against women. Besides the visiting partners from all over the world, Fairspace and others will contribute to the program. We are still finalizing the exact program, and are very much open to contributions and other support. Please contact our event organizer Melissa at melissa@maction.nl.

The event will take place at the Stadstimmertuin in Amsterdam, 12.30 – 16h. Afterwards we will have drinks. The program is in English.

Want to join? Please register via this form. More information to follow. See also the Facebookevent.
Can’t make it? On Friday May 10th we also have an event in The Hague.
