Lunch meeting: masculinities and climate justice

The role of men and masculinities in the climate crisis and initiatives for climate justice has been a long standing topic within the MenEngage Global Alliance. On 15-19 October, the MenEngage Climate Justice Forum, organized by the MenEngage Global Working Group for Climate Justice, Move Men (Belgium), COTFONE (Uganda), YouthNet (Bangladesh) and MÄN (Sweden), takes place in Brussels. Khurram Muhammad from MenEngage and Vidar Vetterfalk from MÄN will visit The Netherlands on 14 and 22 October to share their vision and experiences about Masculinities and Climate Justice with Emancipator network and community.
On both days we will have a (bring your own) lunch session at the new Emancipator office and clubhouse – a wonderful opportunity to come and see! 14 October we will have a general introduction on the topic, and share reflections and experiences between the participants that can be taken to Brussels by Khurram and Vidar. On 22 October we will get a debrief by Khurram and Vidar about the Climate Justice Forum and we will explore possible next steps to work on these topics, also in The Netherlands.
